Switch refuses to connect to any iPhone hotspots by fluffmiceter in NintendoSwitch

Hey, this might be the "Have you tried turning it on and off again?" of these suggestions, but are you aware the Mobile Hotspot screen has to be open on your iPhone in order for devices to connect to it (for the first time)? So just activate the hotspot and don't lock your phone and try it again..?

Hey, I said somewhere else, I snuck a picture off of a twitter wall. Seems the site doesn't display its correctly or the lady who posted this on twitter didn't post it correctly. I still laughed. :D

Haha, yeah someone else posted the gif. Duh. Either the device was incapable of playing gifs or the poster lady didn't know how to post a gif.

Don't know dude, I'm repeating it blindly, but that's what the UK person introducing it called it.

I never knew there was a switch mode! I didn't mean to challenge you, by the way! :)

Have you tried the other controller modes as well? As far as I know, there are a couple different modes you can start the controller in.

The moment I knew the Zelda DLC was worth it by pkbronsonb in gaming

But I'm serious! I needed maybe ten tries once I figured out that stepping towards the orphan instead of sidestepping or stepping back is that much more useful. That felt actually almost like cheesing the boss!

I know I'm missing your point here, by the way. :D

Have fun with the orphan. If you want to keep yourself from raveling too much: try stepping forward

I think the best translation would be "Why don't you come a little closer?" The "doch" is used to oppose a concern the other party might have. Also, bearing in mind that in Germany we don't have the general "you" and differ between persons of respect/strangers and friends/people we're close with by addressing them with "Sie" or "Du" respectively. So, the German original is pretty creepy, just for the fact it has this kind of soothing undertone, but spoken to a stranger (the "Sie" hints at that) it becomes rather creepy.

No one is going to read this, but I felt like this brilliant ad deserves explanation to anybody who can't understand the original.
