During one of those social activism phases reddit goes through every few months (i.e. net neutrality or something), there will always be highly gilded comment or post explaining the reason [InsertCauseHere] is so important with a few paragraphs with some links.

Obligatory Edit near the end: "omg so glad you all read this and gave it so much visibility. But stop giving me gold, donate to _____ instead because I'm such a good considerate person".
