because the game needs to be able to read all the game data? ever thought about that?

Majestic_Jackass 2 points

So it needs access to my photos and media? The wording is sketchy.

Terminats 3 points

well thats already androids fault, the game dev can do nothing about it

ShiraazMohamed 5 points

As a Muslim I'm not mad about the terrorist thing, I'm mad you called it a hoverboard you stupid fuck

Terminats 9 points

Wait, Molotov damage stacks?

Terminats 110 points

Yes.

colonelniko 4 points

Does it work with ct mollies too? I could imagine a x3 stack would destroy t's

Terminats 3 points

Yeah, it works with incendiaries as well, don't know if it would stack 3 times though.

Great news! Now I wait to be able to download and play the Android compatible games, from my library, directly from Steam app.

edit: clarity

Terminats 5 points

This most likely won't happen as you paid for the PC version of the game, not for the Android version.

startrucks 1 point

When you think about it, its the same with some Mac OS games. Even though you bought the Windows version, you can also play it on Mac and vice-versa. Why not Android, especially the games from the Humble Bundle, that are multi-platform.

Terminats 2 points

Yeah, it is kinda the same. But I think that's up to the developer to decide if its bundled to other OS's or not.

I know there are benchmarking tools for GPUs, but is there a tool that'll tell me if a card is running, i guess right?

I sound like an idiot here. I'm buying a 290 from ebay (fingers crossed!) and the guy says it's lightly used, only for gaming not mining, yada yada. I'm sure that's the case, but I've never purchased such an important part of hardware secondhand before, I just want to make sure it's in good shape asap upon receipt because i'm paranoid like that

Terminats 1 point

Play a few games, while keeping an eye on fps. Then look up R9 290 benchmarks and see if the fps matches.

That AMD 4 core is really not worth buying. Different savings lead up to a better GPU. Left the case untouched and picked everything from amazon.

isnt it smarter to do 2 x 4 for ram as it can balance the usage per stick?

Terminats 1 point

Never heard anything like that. Only benefit from 2x4GB is dual-channel memory, which is about 5% faster than 1x8GB and it really isn't worth paying 10$ extra in my opinion.

The i5 CPU will give you a better gaming experience. Intel has the better of the CPUs for gaming. It has two less cores, but the i5 has more processing power per core which is great for gaming. Most games won't use more than 2 cores so its better to have less cores in this instance. Some games will use more than 2, but thats what the other 2 of the i5 are for. The FX series just doesn't stand up to the Intel counterpart in the price range.

Changed the mobo to match

Cheaper ram with the same specs, plus having only 1 stick is good on a budget build, it leaves more room for upgrades later.

I was deciding between the 280, 280x and 960 for this part. The 280x brought the build up to 627 and the 960 was less, but also brought the build to over 600. Either way the 280 is far superior and will max out most games in comparison with the 750ti.

Cheaper white case with GREAT features for the price. Seriously, with budget builds this is the case to get. They make a black one as well, but the case you had before was white so I picked white.

You can go with the semi modular PSU and still be under 600, but if you're looking to save money, then its an extra $15 in your pocket.

I didn't notice until now that you had the dust filter so that brings the total of this build to $553.80 assuming I did my head math right. Which also means you can get the 280x if you would like and still be under 600.

Hope this helps.

Edit: Here's the build, didn't feel right not fixing it.

I wouldn't suggest running an i5 and a 280x off a 430w PSU.

I thought about coloring them, but i have absolutely no experience with that so i'm trying to maybe find some plain black ones first.
The Spectre Pro look really damn good and seem to be pretty quiet aswell, thanks a lot for recommending them!
EDIT: I put all the fans in, the two Bitfenix for the radiator, the 3 120's for intake in the front and the 1 140 in the back as exhaust. What do you think?

Yeah, should be good to go, as there is neutral pressure. All in all a pretty good build.

Although now i noticed that you dont have a hard drive selected, only SSD. Is this intentional?

Yes I have. Thank you for trying to help me instead of bashing my post.

I've dealt with a similar problem, so i know how you feel. :) Have you tried booting with another drive and using the Seagate as a secondary one?

I have flashed rom just now and absolutely loving it already. Yeah, there is not so many functions, but you know, i've been looking for gpe-edition-like rom for months and cm12 now seems like almost stock android experience. And it's beautiful.

I have 2 questions:

  1. Anyone have working standart swype-feature?

  2. What about ota-updates? How can I (if I can) receive and install them?

Terminats 2 points

Updates are here: Settings - About phone - CyanogenMod Updates (at the very top)

pvlkrpv 1 point

Thanks, man. So, when new nightly ota will come, I can just update from there, right? That would be awesome.

Terminats 2 points

Yeah, there'll be a download button on the right side of the updated zip once one is avaliable. :)
