Stickied postModerator of r/ProgrammerHumor

We have recently had several posts of images of mugs or t-shirts with programming-related jokes on them. These posts are usually spam with the goal of having another automated account posting a link to the merchandise for sale in the comments.

These posts can draw a dozen or more automated accounts that we have to sort through, identify, and ban. The volume of bans and spam tagging required means we spend a disproportionate amount of time on these threads and risk false positive bans of users in the comments.

Very few of these posts have come from users. We think that the few legitimate posts fitting this description aren't worth sorting through the disproportionate amount of spam for.

To this end, we're removing further posts that fit this description.
